COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the visitor’s computer. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier for a cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which websites and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This allows the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other internet browsers that contain different cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognised and identified again by means of the unique cookie ID.

The use of cookies makes it possible to provide users of this website with user-friendly services that would not be possible without the use of cookies.

Cookies allow the information and offers on our website to be optimised in the interest of the user. We distinguish between 3 types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies that ensure the basic functions of the website.
  • Functional cookies to ensure the performance of the website.
  • Targeting cookies to improve the user experience.

Which cookies are used?

  • Facebook
  • Google Analytics
  • WordPress

As far as possible, we try to prevent data from being transmitted to these services. If you are actively logged in to one of the social networks, this information is assigned to your user account. We point out that we ourselves do not know exactly, nor have any influence over, which data exactly reaches the respective service. By activating and using a social network plugin, you consent to the associated transmission of personal data to the selected service.

Current information on the manner, purpose, scope of use and protection of your data through these networks, and any related rights, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. We assume no liability for the completeness and accuracy of this information.
