Provence Cathedral XII

The apse of a Gothic cathedral in Provence opens to a series of tall, vibrant stained glass windows, filling the space with colored light. Massive stone pillars rise to support the elaborate ribbed vaulting overhead. In the foreground, red marble steps lead to the altar, adorned with a simple cross and candles.
